UP Election 2022: 'Owaisi Just A Trailer...', Twitter User Threatens CM Yogi Adityanath

New Delhi: Days after AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi’s convoy was attacked, a Twitter user has claimed that the attack on AIMIM chief Owaisi was just a trailer and the actual target is Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.
On Sunday evening, some tweets surfaced on the microblogging platform threatening to blow up Yogi Adityanath and BJP’s cars with RDX. The account from which the tweets were posted was named ‘Lady Done’ @ladydone3.
The account holder also tagged Hapur police and UP police in the tweets challenging them to stop him if they can. The user also tagged actor and BJP MP from Gorakhpur Ravi Kishan along with Yogi Adityanath saying that they both will be killed by a human bomb before Monday morning.
The UP police have taken the required action in the matter, and the Twitter account has been suspended. As per the information available, the Twitter handle was created in February 2022 only with one follower and two followings. The user also mentions that a ‘Mujahid’ from Pakistan will destroy everything.
The threat has come days after Owaisi was fired upon in Meerut, UP. His convoy was returning from an election-related event in UP to Delhi when it was fired upon in the Kithoud area.
The police arrested two persons in the case and recovered country-made pistols from them. The accused claimed to have been upset by Owaisi’s “anti-Hindu” comments. The investigation in the case is still going on. After the incident, Owaisi was given the ‘Z’ category security, but he declined it saying he needs a proper investigation in the case.
