UP Assembly Elections 2022: PM Modi-Amit Shah To Take Charge Of BJP Campaign In November
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit poll-bound state Uttar Pradesh and launch state and Central projects worth over Rs 1-lakh crore in November.
New Delhi: With Uttar Pradesh Elections 2022 inching closer, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah will be BJP's star campaigners for the polls. The saffron party has decided that the Prime Minister will be holding 4 mega rallies to influence the voters.
Not only the political rallies, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also set to either launch or inaugurate state and Central projects worth over Rs 1-lakh crore in November Uttar Pradesh. Home Minister Amit Shah will visit the poll-bound state five times in the month of November.
PM Modi will inaugurate the Rs 42,000 crore Purvanchal Expressway on November 16. A massive public meeting will also be held by the PM here. He had laid the foundation stone for the project in July 2018, a year after the Yogi Adityanath government came to power in Uttar Pradesh.
The Prime Minister will further inaugurate Jewar International Airport in Noida on November 25 which is likely to be commissioned by 2024,
A trip by PM Modi to Jhansi is also on the cards on November 19, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Rani Lakshmi Bai, which will be a part of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' programme celebrating 75 years of India's independence.
PM Modi is also scheduled to unveil a number of development projects and attend a public meeting at Jhansi fort on the 193rd birth anniversary of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi.
Prime Minister Modi may also attend the annual DGPs/IGPs conference along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah on November 20 or 21 for organised by the Intelligence Bureau.
Home Minister Amit Shah will be visiting PM Modi's turf Varanasi on November 12-13. He will also visit Azamgarh, Jaunpur and Basti to address rallies and meet the voters.
