'Khela Hoi' In UP: Samajwadi Party Borrows TMC 'Khela Hobe' Slogan With A Bhojpuri Twist For 2022 Polls
Echo of TMC's 'Khela Hobe' slogan has reached Uttar Pradesh. Samajwadi Party has put up hoardings and posters with 'Khela Hoi' slogans ahead of 2022 assembly polls in UP.
Varanasi: Samajwadi Party recently coined a slogan for the upcoming 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly polls which has become the topic of discussion in lanes of varanasi city.
SP leader and former MLA Abdul Samad Ansari reportedly adopted the poll slogan in their Bhojpuri version from West Bengal’S Trinamool Congress (TMC) slogan 'Khela Hobe'.

The leaders gave it a Bhojpuri twist and rewrote it as 'Khela Hoi' (Now the game is in UP) in a clarion call to upset the BJP in the next 2022 assembly polls in UP.
Khela Hobe slogan was the massively popular campaign of CM Mamata Banerjee during the recently concluded West Bengal Assembly elections. It was instrumental in jolting BJP in the opposition and allowing third term to Mamata Banerjee.
Now the echo of this slogan has reached Uttar Pradesh. Several wall paintings with the slogan ‘2022 mein khela hoi’ with a ‘cycle’ symbol of Samajwadi Party were spotted in the city. According to media reports, the hoardings and posters with 'Khela Hoi' slogans have been put up by SP’s Kanpur city chief Dr Imran.
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav earlier stated that there will be no alliance with BSP and the party will like to tie up with smaller parties and like-minded people.
Meanwhile, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati also clarified that the party will fight state assembly elections alone in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
UP will go to the polls next year in February.
