Aircraft operations took place on the Purvanchal Expressway in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday as a part of the regular training and towards increasing cohesion between civil and military functionaries, as reported by the news agency ANI. Earlier in the day, Air Force officials conducted inspection of  Sultanpur airstrip before the operations. Defence PRO said that various types of aircraft which include fighters, transport and helicopters are likely to take part in this exercise.
