2 Rescued As Fire Breaks Out In Ghaziabad Apartment, Vehicles Charred

Two people were rescued after a fire broke out in an apartment in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. The blaze has now been doused.

Two people trapped on the upper floors of an apartment in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad were rescued after a fire broke out in the building. The incident happened on Thursday night at DLF Ankur Vihar's MM Road in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad and fire tenders were pressed into action. No deaths were reported in the matter and the fire was doused. Officials while talking to news agency PTI said that a rescue operation was launched to save the people who were stuck in the upper floors of the building. Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal said that two people were found in an unconscious state during the rescue operations.

Chief Fire Officer while talking to PTI said, "We received a call at 1:12 am that a fire broke out in the basement of DLF Colony, Ankur Vihar. We reached the spot, and a rescue operation was launched to save people trapped there. Two people were found in an unconscious state, they were later rushed to a hospital."

The fire engulfed 12 two-wheelers and four four-wheelers in it. 

Earlier on September 9, a fire broke out in an electronic factory in the Sahibabad Industrial area in the Ghaziabad region of Uttar Pradesh. Eleven fire tenders rushed to the spot to bring the flames under control. Bhaskar Verma, ACP Sahibabad told PTI, “The police reached and evacuated the building after getting information of a fire at a factory which makes electronic equipment. 11 fire tenders are at the spot and efforts are on control the blaze."
