New Delhi: In a shocking incident, the staff of a private restaurant in Ansal mall was thrashed for a delay in their order. In a video shared by the news agency ANI, a man can be seen grabbing the neck of a staff member and he was beaten by three people. All three accused, residents of Dadri were arrested and sent to jail, according to ANI.

"Yesterday, 3 boys beat up a staff member due to delay in order at a restaurant in Ansal Mall under Thana Knowledge Park. Taking immediate cognizance of the matter, the police arrested the three boys and they are being sent to jail: Vishal Pandey," ANI quoted ADCP Greater Noida as saying.

Earlier, a senior executive, accused in a rape case, knocked down a security guard of his housing society in Noida with his SUV while trying to evade arrest. The security guard suffered serious injuries in his shoulder and legs, a report in NDTV said.

A CCTV footage of the incident, which happened on Tuesday at a society in Noida sector 120, went viral. The accused, identified as Neeraj Singh, works as general manager at a private company. A case was filed against Singh after a co-worker accused him of raping her.

Earlier this month, a security guard at Noida's Shatabdi Rail Vihar Society was thrashed after he stopped some people from entering the complex. Eight people were arrested in the case this week, ANI reported.

The accused allegedly tried to enter the society on November 5 and they were stopped by the security guard for enquiry. The guard had asked them to make an entry on the visitor's register before going inside, to which they refused and started arguing and abusing him. The accused allegedly thrashed the guard with kicks and punches and escaped, ANI reported. The victim, identified as Nitin, later approached the police and lodged a complaint.
