The Mann Government is Turning Dreams into Degrees
Punjab's Mann Government launches free residential JEE/NEET coaching camps under the "School of Eminence" initiative, empowering government school students to achieve their dreams of higher education

In countless villages and towns across Punjab, young minds sit under ceiling fans that turn slowly, dreaming fast. They dream of white coats, stethoscopes, and laboratories. Of IITs, AIIMS, and making their families proud.
But for many, the road to JEE or NEET is littered with impossible fees, distant coaching centres, and broken dreams.
And that is exactly what the Mann Government has chosen to change.
Summer Coaching Camps That Change Lives — Not Just Syllabi
Under the government’s flagship “School of Eminence” initiative, Maan Government has launched free residential coaching camps for JEE and NEET aspirants. Not in private schools. Not in metros. But right here, for the children of Punjab, studying in government schools, who dared to dream big.
In Mohali (SAS Nagar), the classrooms don’t close in the summer. They light up with hope. Here, 600 handpicked students, 500 preparing for JEE and 100 for NEET, are being trained by expert faculty, living in comfortable hostels, and served wholesome meals, all without spending a single rupee.
Why This Matters
Last year, 265 government school students cracked JEE Mains. 44 even made it through the Advanced round; a feat many thought only coaching giants could deliver.
This year, instead of leaving things to chance, the Mann Government said:
"If they can dream it, we’ll help them do it."
No more coaching fees deciding futures. No more geography limiting opportunity. Just talent, given the wings it deserves.
Beyond Exams: Building Young Lives
This summer camp doesn’t just prepare students for competitive exams. It prepares them for life.
- They’re learning how to manage stress, because pressure is real.
- They’re building team spirit and friendships, because no one succeeds alone.
- They’re receiving career guidance, so they can see a path forward — not just a syllabus.
From Hope to Habit: A Government That Walks With Its Students
This isn’t a publicity/PR stunt. It’s a promise kept.
A promise that no government school child in Punjab will be left behind just because their family couldn’t afford a coaching centre in Kota or Delhi. A promise that says - we see you, we believe in you, and we’re investing in your future.
Because when a state starts building engineers and doctors from its government schools, it’s not just producing professionals , it’s changing generations.
This is not just a coaching camp.
It’s Punjab’s heart beating louder than ever , for its children who are the Future.
