Punjab DGP Siddharth Chattopadhyaya Makes Big Revelation On Ludhiana Court Blast | Exclusive Interview

On December 23, a blast at the Ludhiana court complex killed Gangandeep, a dismissed policeman who was allegedly planting the bomb, and injured two others.

New Delhi: Punjab DGP Siddharth Chattopadhyaya said the recent bomb blast in Ludhiana had links to Germany and Pakistan. On Tuesday, German authorities detained Jaswinder Singh Multani, who allegedly belongs to the Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), an organisation suspected to be behind the Ludhiana court complex blast.

"Jaswinder Singh Multani belongs to Sikhs for Justice and has been living in Germany for many years. There he works in clothes business and pizza. Along with intoxicants, weapons are also being sent from Pakistan. Earlier, arms and ammunition were smuggled from Pakistan. The same is now being sent by drones," Punjab DGP Siddharth Chattopadhyaya told ABP.

On December 23, a blast at the Ludhiana court complex killed Gangandeep, a dismissed policeman who was allegedly planting the bomb, and injured two others.

The Punjab DGP said police personnel have been asked to be fully alert in all districts. He said Pakistan was attempting to disturb peace in Punjab ahead of election.

"SFJ (Sikhs for Justice) mislead our youth. They themselves live in palaces abroad and mislead our youth in the name of gurus. In such cases, not only the police, but also the common citizens will have to be active. If you suspect any person, then immediately inform about it to the police. It is election time in Punjab. That is why even Pakistan does not want that there should be peace here," he said.

DGP Siddharth Chattopadhyaya also said the organisation, along with Pakistan's ISI, had planned blasts in Delhi and Mumbai.

"Our investigation in the Ludhiana blast cae has come a long way. Everything will be revealed very soon. Outside Punjab also there were plans for serial blasts in Delhi, Mumbai. An important role is being played by Pakistan's agency ISI," he said.
