Trainee IAS Officer Puja Khedkar Summoned By Cops Over Harassment Case Against Pune District Collector

Trainee IAS officer Puja Khedkar has been summoned by Pune police to record her statement in the harassment case she filed against Pune District Collector Suhas Divase.

Trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar has been asked to appear before the Pune cops on Thursday in a harassment case. A notice was sent to Khedkar, asking her to record her statement in connection with her harassment complaint against Pune Collector Suhas Divase, according to an NDTV report.

On Tuesday, Khedkar, who is in the eye of a storm for allegedly lying about her OBC status and disabilities in her UPSC candidature, accused Divase of harassment. Divase had reported her alleged misuse of power to the Maharashtra government, as per an India Today report.

However, the Pune collector said he was not aware of any such complaints against him. No one communicated to me about this. So there is no question of giving a reaction. I came to know about this complaint only through media reports," Diwase told news agency PTI.

The Washim police had transferred Khedkar's complaint to Pune police, after which the trainee IAS officer was called to record her statement on Thursday.

It is not yet known whether Khedkar would record her statement.
