MP: 2 Kanwariyas Killed As Truck Hit Tractor Trolley In Morena
On Sunday, a kanwariya was killed and 13 more suffered burn injuries after their canter truck came in contact with an overhead electricity wire in Haryana'a Faridabad.
Two Kanwariyas were killed in Madhya Pradesh's Morena after a container hit a tractor trolley, said the police on Monday. The container hit a tractor trolley which overturned leading to the death of two Kanwariyas while some other people were injured.
"An accident occurred on National Highway near the Deori village. A container hit a tractor trolley which overturned leading to the death of 2 Kanwariyas and some people were injured...The truck driver is undergoing treatment," said Arvind Thakur, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Morena.
The Kanwariyas were from Morena and some were sitting in a tractor trolley while some were walking, said the police official. "A truck hit them, two have died. Injured have been referred to Gwalior," he added.

According to a Times of India report, following the collision, the group of Kanwariyas set fire to the truck and beat the driver. The truck was on its way from Agra to Bhind when it hit the Kanwariyas in Piparsewa village, around 75km short of its destination and 36km from Morena town.
Some of the Kanwariyas dragged the driver out beat him up and set the truck ablaze.
The driver was rescued by the police from the beating and took all four to a local hospital who were then referred to Gwalior, 18 kilometres away.

The victims, who were all kanwariyas were going to Haridwar in Uttarakhand as part of the kawar yatra to collect water from the Ganga river, they said, reported PTI.
The incident took place in the Nawada area and all the injured were admitted to a hospital with burn injuries. Nitin, 20, a resident of Tigaon, was referred to another hospital where doctors declared him dead, police said.
