Family Rescued From Car Stuck In Flood Waters In Uttarakhand's Haldwani: Watch
In Uttakhand's Haldwani, a car with a family of four was seen drifting away due to the flow of the heavy rainwater.
Amid the gushing water flow on a street in Uttarakhand, a video of a car trying to move upwards was captured. However, the strong flow of the water prevented the vehicle from moving in the direction the driver wanted to go, instead it slowly began drifting away.
The vehicle was carrying a family of four, according to an NDTV report. As per the news outlet, the incident occurred in Haldwani, known as the ‘Gateway of Kumaon’.

"Bah gaya woh, mujhe pata tha (He will be swept away. I knew it)," a man recording the video could be heard saying.
Instructing the shopkeeper who was close to the car the video recorder said, “Usse bolo back karde.” (Tell him to reverse it [the car])
The car stopped at the nearby shop, much to its occupants saving grace, as flood waters continued to push the vehicle back. The family immediately got two children — a little girl, and a boy — out of the car with the help of locals in the area. According to NDTV, the other passengers in the car were also able to get out in time.
