Virat Kohli to return in Border-Gavaskar Trophy
This Test series between India and Australia is very important for both teams. The Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 consists of a four-match Test series, which will decide the top two teams in the World Test Championship. If India beats Australia in the four-match Test series, they will qualify for WTC Finals regardless of the results from other series.
If India vs Australia Test series ends in a 2-2 draw, and Sri Lanka beat New Zealand 2-0, India won't be able to qualify for the top two. Hence, Sri Lanka and Australia could also be the World Test Championship finalists.
Australia tour of India (Test series schedule):
First Test - February 9 to 13, Nagpur
Second Test - February 17 to 21, Delhi
Third Test - March 1 to 5, Dharamshala
Fourth Test - March 9 to 13, Ahmedabad
