Rishabh Pant took to Instagram to post a video paying a heartfelt tribute to all the athletes that represented India at the Paris Olympics 2024. Watch the video here:

India star cricketer Rishabh Pant took to his Instagram account to post an appreciation video for the Indian athletes that represented the country at the recently-concluded Paris Olympics 2024. India sent a 117-member contingent to participate in 69 sporting events across 16 disciplines and finished with six medals in total; 5 bronze and one silver. 

The Paris Olympics concluded on August 12 and the wicket-keeper batter posted a tribute on Instagram to honour the athletes' dedication and hard work. He shared a video featuring clips of Indian athletes and expressed his admiration, noting the sacrifices involved in representing the nation. Pant congratulated all participants and wished them the best for the future, ending with a patriotic "Jai Hind."

Neeraj Chopra, Manu Bhaker & Hockey Team Feats Headline India At Olympics

The Indian contingent concluded the Paris Olympics with a total of six medals, including one silver and five bronze. Star javelin thrower and Tokyo Olympics gold medalList Neeraj Chopra secured a silver medal this year, falling short of a gold medal that went to Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem.

Shooter Manu Bhaker earned a bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event and she, along with Sarabjot Singh, also won bronze in the mixed 10m air pistol event. The Indian hockey team clinched their second consecutive bronze medal. Rifle shooter Swapnil Kusale earned bronze in the 50m rifle event, while Aman Sehrawat brought home a bronze in the 57kg freestyle wrestling category. Unfortunately, the 29-year-old wrestler Vinesh Phogat faced a sad ending at the Paris 2024 as she was disqualified from the 50 kg wrestling event in the finals on grounds of being overweight by 100 grams.
