"As an athlete myself I know the hardships and sacrifices all would have made to represent our nation at the highest level. I’m sure all would have taken some great learnings from the games. Congratulations to all the winners and participants for representing India at the highest level. Wishing you all the very best. Jai Hind," reads Rishabh Pant's caption to the video.

Neeraj Chopra, Manu Bhaker & Hockey Team Feats Headline India At Olympics

The Indian contingent concluded the Paris Olympics with a total of six medals, including one silver and five bronze. Star javelin thrower and Tokyo Olympics gold medalList Neeraj Chopra secured a silver medal this year, falling short of a gold medal that went to Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem.

Shooter Manu Bhaker earned a bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event and she, along with Sarabjot Singh, also won bronze in the mixed 10m air pistol event. The Indian hockey team clinched their second consecutive bronze medal. Rifle shooter Swapnil Kusale earned bronze in the 50m rifle event, while Aman Sehrawat brought home a bronze in the 57kg freestyle wrestling category. Unfortunately, the 29-year-old wrestler Vinesh Phogat faced a sad ending at the Paris 2024 as she was disqualified from the 50 kg wrestling event in the finals on grounds of being overweight by 100 grams.
