Paris Olympics 2024 Schedule Today: India have their sights set on a strong start on the official opening day of the Paris Olympics 2024 as several Indian athletes will be seen in action on July 27 (Saturday). India could make a strong start with a potential medal in the Shooting events. The Indian team will have their first chance at a medal as Elavenil Valarivan and Sandeep Singh, along with Ramita Jindal and Arjun Babuta, compete in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event.

Star badminton duo of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy will also be in action for a group-stage match. Additionally, the Indian men’s hockey team will face New Zealand in their opening match and Preeti Pawar will begin her boxing campaign. In tennis, Rohan Bopanna and N. Sriram Balaji will compete in their first men's doubles match.
