Paris Olympics 2024, Day 8: Manu Bhaker Narrowly Misses Out On Her Third Medal- Full List Of India Results On August 3

Paris Olympics 2024, Day 8: Nishant Dev lost the quarterfinal after taking the lead meaning India could neither add nor assure itself of a medal on August 3.

It was not the best of days for the Indian contingent at the Paris Olympics 2024. While Manu Bhaker, on a hat-trick, in the ongoing edition of the Summer Games, narrowly missed out on a medal and finished fourth, Deepika Kumari also let a golden opportunity slip away in women's individual archery and lost the quarterfinal despite having taken a lead and having a good chance to proceed to the final four.

While Nishant Dev could have won and that would have assured India of a medal in boxing, he lost the Men's 71 kg boxing quarterfinal after having taken a lead to end India's day without a movement alongside their name in the medal tally. The only moment was a decline their rankings with other teams surpassing the 117-member Indian contingent.
