On Day 6 of the Paris Olympics 2024, shooter Swapnil Kusale secured a bronze medal in the Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions event, marking India's third medal of the Games and continuing their success in shooting. In badminton, India's top doubles pair, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, were eliminated in the quarterfinals, while Lakshya Sen triumphed over HS Prannoy in an all-Indian men's singles match to advance to the quarterfinals. The Indian men's hockey team suffered a narrow 1-2 defeat against the reigning champions, Belgium.
Additionally, PV Sindhu's campaign came to a heartbreaking end with a 0-2 loss to China's He Bing Jiao.

Athletics
Vikash Singh finished 30th and Paramjeet Singh Bisht 37th in the Men's 20km Race Walk. Akshdeep Singh did not finish the race (rescheduled to 11:30 AM due to bad weather).
Priyanka Goswami finished 41st in the Women's 20km Race Walk.
Golf
Shubhankar Sharma tied for 29th and Gaganjeet Bhullar tied for 56th in Men's Individual Stroke Play Round 1.
Shooting
Swapnil Kusale won bronze in Men's 50m Rifle Three Positions.
Anjum Moudgil and Sift Kaur Samra failed to qualify for the final, finishing 18th and 31st respectively in Women's 50m Rifle Three Positions Qualification.

India lost 1-2 against Belgium in Men's Pool B.

Nikhat Zareen lost to Yu Wu (China) in the Women's 50kg Round of 16.
Archery

Sailing
Vishnu Saravanan is currently placed 25th in the Men's Dinghy event after Race 2, with 8 more races to go. The top 10 will qualify for the Medal race.
Nethra Kumanan is placed sixth in Women's Dinghy after Race 1. Race 2 was postponed due to a lack of wind at Marseille Marina.
