In badminton, PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen advanced to their respective Women’s and Men’s Singles Quarterfinals with decisive victories. Lovlina Borgohain and Nishant Dev both progressed to the boxing Quarterfinals, positioning India for potential medals in the sport. 

Additionally, Deepika Kumari moved into the Women’s Singles Archery Quarterfinals.

Rajeshwari Kumari (22nd) and Shreyasi Singh (23rd) do not make the Women's Trap final.

Badminton

PV Sindhu defeats Kristin Kuuba (Estonia) 21-5, 21-10 to advance to the Women's Singles Round of 16.

Lakshya Sen upsets third seed Jonatan Christie (Indonesia) 21-18, 21-12 to reach the Men's Singles Pre-Quarterfinals.

HS Prannoy wins against Duc Phat Le (Vietnam) 16-21, 21-11, 21-12 in the Men's Singles Group Stage, advancing to the Pre-Quarterfinals.

Rowing

Balraj Panwar finishes last in the Men's Singles Sculls Semifinals (C/D) but qualifies for Final D.
