Social Media Erupts In Celebration As Manu Bhaker, Sarabjot Singh Clinch Another Olympic 2024 Medal For India
Following the Indian duo of Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh's bronze medal victory at the Paris Olympics 2024, social media was flooded with congratulations from supporters.
Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh won the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event at the Paris Olympics 2024 on July 30 (Tuesday). They overcame South Korea's Oh Ye Jin and Lee Wonho in the bronze medal match, marking India's second medal at these Games. This achievement also makes Manu the first Indian since independence to win two medals in a single Olympic Games. Social media erupted in joy as the congratulatory wishes were showered upon the Indian duo.
The 10m air pistol mixed team event match used a race-to-16-points format, where Korea initially led 2-0. India equalised at 2-2 and then moved ahead with a 4-2 lead. Following a timeout called by the Korean athletes, India built a lead of 8-2, but Korea came back to close the gap to 14-10. India ultimately secured the bronze with a decisive 16-10 victory in the final series.

After the Indian duo's bronze medal win at the Paris Olympics 2024, they received an outpouring of congratulations from supporters on social media.
