Ishant Sharma gets engaged to India's basketball player

New Delhi: Making good use of the break from cricket, India’s fast bowler Ishant Sharma on Sunday joined the list of engaged cricketers. Ishant got engaged to Pratima Singh, Delhi-based basketball player. After Yuvraj Singh got engaged to Bollywood actress Hazel Keech, Ishant is the latest addition tothe list of cricketers who have recently exchanged rings with their lady love. Ishant is currently not part of India’s limited-overs team that is busy playing in Zimbabwe. Pratima hails from Varanasi. She is a member of India Women's National Basketball team. Interestingly, Pratima has four sisters and three of them have either represented or are representing India in basketball. The five sisters – Prashanti Singh, Divya Singh, Priyanka Singh, Akanksha Singh and Pratima Singh – are popularly known as 'Singh Sisters' in basketball circles.
