Here's What Both Captains Said During Toss

Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans Captain):

"We will bowl first. Looks like a slowish wicket playing on the black soil so different from the previous 2 games. It's a very good wicket. The ball just flies. We have been batting and bowling well. The message essage is to adapt to the conditions as soon as possible and capitalise."

"[Doing something different] In the past 3 years we have some really good memories so we are just trying to continue having fun and keep the good bonding going. We just have one change Washi comes in for Arshad Khan."

Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain):

"We were going to bowl, but more than happy to bat first. Look, I hope not. Always wanted our guys to be aggressive. We scored 280 odd in the first game and then 190 odd in the second game. So, we like to bat and put runs on the board here."

"We are focusing on our strengths. We have to be at our best. We shouldn't be timid at this time. Yeah, Harshal Patel has an illness, and Jaydev Unadkat is playing."
