RCB Vs KKR: Kohli To Play His 200th Match In IPL Today, 71 Away From 10,000 T20 Runs

RCB vs KKR: Kohli will play his 200th IPL match today. If Kohli scored 71 runs in this match, he will become the fifth batsman in the world to score 10,000 runs in T20 history.

RCB vs KKR: In the second phase of IPL 2021, three-time finalist RCB will take on two-time champions KKR today. Ahead of the match, captain Virat Kohli has shocked everyone by announcing that he will quit the captainship of RCB after the second phase of IPL 2021. Kohli had announced this yesterday. Kohli, known for his aggressive captainship, has not won a single IPL title for RCB. He will try to win RCB's IPL title this last season of his captainship. There are also many other records that will be the target of Kohli in today's match.   
 
Kohli will play his 200th IPL match today. Kohli will be the fifth player in IPL history to do so. Before Kohli, CSK captain MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, KKR's Dinesh Karthik and Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma have achieved this milestone. 
 
Kohli will focus on completing his 10,000 runs in T20. 
 
Kohli will also be tried to complete his 10,000 runs in T20. If Kohli scores 71 runs in this match, he will become the fifth batsman in the world to score 10,000 runs in the history of T20. Before Kohli, 'Universe Boss' West Indies Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Pakistan's Shoaib Malik and Australia's David Warner have done this wonders. 
 
Kohli has already set a special record during the first phase of IPL 2021 played in India. Kohli had completed his 6000 runs in the IPL match against Rajasthan Royals. Kohli became the first player in IPL history to achieve this feat.   
 
Kohli announced to quit RCB captainship 
 
Captain Virat Kohli has decided to quit the Bangalore captainship after the second half of IPL 2021. RCB reported this through a post from its official Twitter account. 

Kohli had earlier announced to quit captaining Team India in T20 Internationals after the 2021 T20 World Cup. After Kohli's decision, there were speculations that he might soon quit the RCB captainship.
