IPL 2024 updated points table, Purple Cap and Orange Cap holders: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 has been a remarkable tourmament so far. Still in its first half, it has been hard to dismiss any team against any opponent. Most of the contests have been close and even those who might have been ranked lower on the points table have found a way to surprise a team that finds itself on top.

Quite similar was the case in match number 26 of IPL 2024. Delhi Capitals (DC) entrered this fixture as the team at the tenth position on the table. On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) had won three matches in a row and were in the top half of points tally. Yet as it turned out, it was DC who stunned LSG at the latter's home ground. The win was DC's secone of the ongoing season in 6 matches. Meanwhile, it was the third defeat in 5 games for LSG.
