Here's a look at Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 updated Points Table, Orange Cap & Purple Cap holders after Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) vs Gujarat Titans (GT) IPL match.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) clinched a victory by 33 runs against Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 21st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 2024, held at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on April 8 (Sunday). Earlier in the day Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated the Delhi Capitals (DC) by 29 runs in a high-scoring affair at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Following a comfortable win against GT, LSG ascended from the fourth to the third position in the IPL 2024 points table. All-rounder Krunal Pandya, Yash Thakur and Marcus Stoinis emerged as the heroes for LSG in the match as they defended the target of 164 runs. Let’s take a look at the IPL 2024 season’s points table:

Rajasthan Royals (RR), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are the only undefeated teams in the tournament so far and occupy the top two spots on the IPL 2024 points table respectively. LSG after their recent win are now placed third and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are placed fourth.

Star RCB batter Virat Kohli maintains his lead in the run-scoring charts with 316 runs from five innings. Meanwhile, Sai Sudharsan, the top-order batter for GT, occupies the second spot having amassed 191 runs.
