The upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season is expected to commence from March 22nd onwards, with the T20 tournament likely to run until May 26.

Featuring 10 teams -- Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, -- Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will witness a total of 74 thrilling T20 cricket matches, including three playoffs and a highly anticipated IPL 2024 Final.

IPL 2024 Format: During Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 league stage, all 10 teams are set to play 14 matches each—seven at home and seven away. At the end of league stage, top two teams on the points table will face off in the qualifier 1, with the victor earning a direct spot in the final.

The third and fourth-placed teams in league stage will square off in the Eliminator. The winner of the eliminator will then face the losing team from qualifier 1 for the opportunity to advance to IPL 2024 Final.
