Once the toss between Rajasthan Royals skipper Steve Smith and his CSK counterpart MS Dhoni got over, the India U-19 star Jaiswal was spotted by a camera greeting the legend Dhoni with a traditional Namaste besides bumping fists with the CSK skipper.

Chennai Super Kings skipper and one of India's greatest cricketers Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a youth icon and a role model for of millions of budding cricketers across the nation who look up to him and endeavor to emulate the stellar feats achieved by the legend in his glittering career. India's 18-year-old teen batting sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal who made his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings like many other young cricketers seemed to be in awe of Dhoni's presence ahead of his team's opener in the thirteenth edition of the IPL on September 22. The 'Fanboy' moment clip sent social media a buzz with Twittarati giving Jaiswal a thumbs up for his heart warming gesture, very much true to the age old Indian traditions. Jaiswal did not fare well in his maiden IPL innings doning the Rajasthan jersey as he miscued a pull off CSK seamer Deepak Chahar to scoop a catch straight up to the bowler, ending his brief stint at the crease which saw him scoring just 6 runs. Jaiswal who is dubbed as one of the stars for the future made an impact on the international scene during his stellar run scoring exploits in the  2019 ICC Under-19 World Cup. The aggressive opener notched up 400 runs from six matches to emerge as the highest run scorer in the tournament. Rajasthan Royals snapped up Yashasvi Jaiswal for a whopping Rs 2.4 crores in the IPL auctions held in Kolkata in December following his good showing in the Under 19 World Cup . Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad have a reputation of picking up talented young cricketers and grooming them well to build them as stars for the future.
