A blistering start from Virat Kohli (52-ball 80*) and Rohit Sharma (34-ball 64) helped India set a grand stage to post a mammoth 224/2 against England at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday. The solid 94-run partnership between Kohli and Rohit was attained by them in their 2nd outing together as openers for the Indian cricket team.

 

After Rohit's exit, Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav continued to torment the visitors by launching a brutal attack against English bowlers.

 

Yadav played a fiery 17-ball 32 run knock before Chris Jordan put an end to his innings with a stunning one-handed catch.
