The legend was so impressed with Bumrah's shot that he could not stop himself from praising it on social media. He praised Bumrah for playing such heroic knock in difficult English conditions.
Tendulkar took to Twitter to write," Formidable lead for #TeamIndia after some important runs added by the tail. It’ll be interesting to see how England respond after being behind. By the way, Jasprit Bumrah just played the shot of his life today"
Bumrah scored 28 runs off 34 balls - his highest score in Tests so far. He had earlier scored a fifty against Australia A at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Bumrah also shared a crucial 95-run partnership with Mohammad Siraj for the last wicket to take India past 250-run mark against England.
