PM Modi, Australian PM To Attend IND vs AUS 4th Test In Ahmedabad: Report
PM Modi, Australian PM Anthony Albanese will witness India vs Australia 4th Test at Ahmedabad's picturesque Narendra Modi Stadium - largest cricket stadium of the world.
India vs Australia Test series: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian PM Anthony Albanese will attend the fourth and final Test of Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. As per reported by the Times of India, the leaders of both the nations will witness India vs Australia 4th Test at Ahmedabad's picturesque Narendra Modi Stadium - largest cricket stadium of the world. Notably, IND vs AUS 4th Test will be the first cricket match attended by PM Modi in the stadium after the refurbished stadium was named after him.
The first match of the four-match Test series between India and Australia will be played in Nagpur, from February 9. A confident India will be going into Ind vs Aus series opener in Nagpur following a dominating win over Bangladesh in the last Test series they played, last year. Australia, on the other hand, won the three match Test series against South Africa at home by 2-0. Both the teams are in great form in red-ball format and will aim to draw the first blood in Nagpur.
A Test series between India and Australia will be played on Indian soil after a gap of six years. In the last four-match Test series played in India in the year 2017, India defeated Australia 2-1. All-format skipper Rohit Sharma will lead the Blues in upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy vs Australia.
