'Sirf Naam Ke Hi Sabse Ameer...': Fans Lash Out At BCCI For Poor Drainage System After Delay In 2nd T20I
Ind vs Aus 2nd T20 International was finally given a thumbs up after three inspections. Some passionate fans on twitter lashed out at BCCI for delay due to the wet outfield.
India vs Australia 2nd T20 International: Finally, good news has arrived for cricket fans after tons of waiting, as Ind vs Aus 2nd T20I is all set to start at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. The second T20I of the three-match T20 series between India and Australia will be a match of 8 overs per side. The ground was wet due to the rain that had occurred for the past few days, causing a wet outfield and hence the playfield was not ready in time to start the match on time.
Notably, the first ball of the match was bowled at 9:30 pm, while the toss took place at 9:15 pm. Each side gets to bowl two overs of powerplay, while a bowler cannot bowl more than two overs. However, the good thing will be that no team will face any penalty for slow over rate.
Rohit Sharma & Co. won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Men in Blue made two changes in their playing XI. Jasprit Bumrah replaced Umesh Yadav while Rishabh Pant came in place of Bhuvneshewar Kumar.
Tonight is a do-or-die match for India as Australia is already 1-0 up in the three-match T20I series.

So much money but no proper drainage system, produced bowlers with no pace, swing and Yorkers .. Not sure if Indian cricket is headed in right direction under Ganguly.

@BCCI @SGanguly99 - Shame on you guys, in this day and age if we are not able to play a cricket match due to overnight rain !! Wow. Only if our country had better management and accountability for things like these.

Abe itna paisa kamate ho , Har international ground ko atlest full cover Ki facility Toh minimum agr super sopper Nai hai . This rain happened last night not few hours back . If the full ground was covered then the outfield could have easily dried by now .

Another inspection at 8 PM...what the hell very poor drainage system...what if it rains even for 15 mins during this period, I think it will be abandoned.

This is standard of indian cricket management? Refund ticket money when match gets cancelled due to rain/wet outfield. Its your faulty venue selection and team selection we are loosing money and cups!!

BCCI,richest board in world & doesn't have super-soppers in stadiums where int'l matches takes place, gives insight into BCCI'S ambitions regarding ICT growth & too much focus on IPL.

If 🇮🇳 doesn't win a ICC trophy in 1-2 year,IPL brand value will also fall.
Sirf naam ke hi sabse Ameer bord hai facility To kuchh Bhi nahin Hai 😠😠😠😠
