Rohit Sharma Throws 'Gulaal' On Virat Kohli As Players Celebrate Holi Inside Team Bus. WATCH

Indian players celebrated the festival of colors with each other inside the team bus ahead of IND vs AUS 4th Test in Ahmedabad.

IND vs AUS: Senior cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, along with their teammates welcomed Holi with a colourful celebration ahead of fourth and final Test between India and Australia at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, set to start from Thursday, March 9 onwards.

Indian players celebrated the festival of colors with each other inside the team bus. India batter Shubman Gill took to Instagram to share video of team India's joyous celebration. In the viral video, skipper Rohit Sharma can be seen throwing 'Gulaal' on Virat's back.

After losing the first two Tests inside three days, Australia made a resounding comeback in Indore Test to win their first match in the ongoing four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. Despite losing the 3rd Test, India still lead the IND vs AUS Test series 2-1. The fourth and final match of Border-Gavaskar Trophy between the two teams will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad from 9th March onwards.

A mega milestone is nearing team India when they go up against Australia in one of the largest stadiums in the world, a record currently held by Australia's historic Melbourne Cricket Ground. The MCG holds the record for having highest number of spectators in Test cricket in a single day.

So far, over 85,000 tickets have been sold for the first day's play of Ind vs Aus Ahmedabad Test. This number is expected to cross 1 lakh on the very first day itself. The total capacity of Ahmedabad Stadium is 1,32,000.

If 1 lakh or more spectators come to watch Ind vs Aus 4th Test match at Ahmedabad Stadium, it will be the first time in the history of Test cricket when so many spectators will be present in the stadium. Earlier, the record for the highest number of spectators in a single day was recorded at the MCG during the 2013-14 Ashes series, when 91,112 spectators sat inside the stadium to enjoy the match.
