Brentford Vs Manchester City: Manchester City continue their sublime run in all competitions as Pep Guardiola's side have now registered their 9th consecutive win in all competitions this season by beating Brentford 3-1, thanks to a sensational hattrick from Englishman Phil Foden. This also extends their unbeaten run in all competitions to 12 as their last defeat came at the hands of a sensational Aston Villa side back in December 2023, who had decimated City in all departments, as Unai Emery's side allowed merely two shots in total, in their 1-0 defeat of 9-time Premier League champions.

Pep Guardiola's side have a popular history of making a slow start in the first half of the season, and suddenly popping off in the second, and similar has been the story this season as well, as they look to repeat the heroics of 2022/23 season (their most successful in history), as they stay look commendable in FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, and Premier League. Another record followed up in City's defeat of Brentford as Rodri registered the longest unbeaten run in Premier League history for any Manchester City player, as he is now on a 35-game unbeaten streak.

Brentford Vs Manchester City - Match Report
Manchester City travelled away to Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford, to take on Brentford in their Premier League Matchday 23 fixture. The Bees were carrying the history on their side as they were only the rarest of the sides to have had City's number in past few meetings, and that made the home fans even more hopeful of downing this all-great City side, again.
The ghosts of previous season came haunting again to Pep Guardiola as Thomas Frank's side, who are amongst the rarest to ever do a double over Pep's Man City, took the lead in the 21st minute via Neal Maupay, as the goal sent Brentford fans berserk and electrified the atmosphere.
What followed next was disheartening for the Bees as Phil Foden scored his second hattrick of his City career to deliver a 3-1 win for the visitors, as his goals (45+3', 53', 70') helped Man City go above Arsenal in second position via goal difference, as both sides have 49 points.
