T20 World Cup 2024: India and England are set to lock horns in the Providence Stadium in Guyana for their T20 World Cup 2024 Semi Final clash, but the fixture remains rain-affected, as there have been very slight signs of sun coming out. A cloudy weather for most part of the day, Guyana will prove to be the final venue for England at this year's T20 World Cup if there will be no play, as India will qualify via virtue of finishing their Super 8 Group as winners, and England, who finished second, will unfortunately, bow out of the tournament, and in the process, will give up on their title defence.

India are eyeing yet another ICC trophy, as their quest for one has crossed the 10-year mark and is in its 11th year, with them winning their last one back in 2013, the ICC Champions Trophy, and their opponents in the final on that day, hosts England.

A lot has changed for England since the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy disaster at home, as they ended up winning the 2019 ODI World Cup at home, followed by T20 World Cup triumph in 2022.
