Al Nassr faced off against rivals Al-Hilal in the final, but the intense match concluded with Al-Hilal emerging victorious in the penalty shootout, securing the title over Ronaldo's team. Al-Hilal secured a 5-4 victory in the penalty shootout, completing the league and cup double. The match in Jeddah concluded with a 1-1 scoreline in regulation time, and extra time failed to produce a winner.

Despite scoring a goal in the penalty shootout, the Portuguese striker couldn't prevent his team from losing, resulting in them ending the season without a trophy. Renowned for his passion and dedication to the sport, the 39-year-old Ronaldo was unable to contain his emotions and was seen shedding tears. The poignant video quickly spread across the internet, garnering widespread attention.

Dramatic Penalty Shootout Decides Saudi Kings Cup Final

After a 1-1 draw following 120 minutes of play, the game proceeded to a penalty shootout to determine the victor. Ronaldo successfully converted the second shot for Al-Nassr, following a miss by Alex Telles on the first attempt. However, Al-Nemer's miss in the seventh penalty ultimately sealed Al-Nassr's fate.

Lluis Castro’s team came within reach of winning the shootout when Abdulhamid missed for Al-Hilal. However, Ali Alhassan's attempt to score was thwarted as Bono anticipated his move and dived successfully to his left post to stop the goal.

Aldawsari then restored Al Hilal's lead with the subsequent penalty, before the Moroccan goalkeeper made his second crucial save, ultimately determining the outcome of the series.
