'Dhoni Nahi Hai, Phir...': Yuvraj Singh's Father's Rant Against MS Dhoni Goes Viral- WATCH

Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj Singh took a dig on ex-Indian captain MS Dhoni in a video that is going viral.

India are set to play the second semifinal of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 on June 27 in Guyana. India defeated Australia in their last Super 8 fixture of the T20 WC 2024 to book their slot in the final four of the tournament. If India win the IND vs ENG semifinal, they will meet South Africa in the T20 WC final. Notably, India have not won the T20 WC championship title after its inaugural season in 2007, under MS Dhini’s captaincy. Interestingly, Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh took a potshot on MS Dhoni, video of which is going viral.

Back in 2007, under the leadership of MS Dhoni, India lifted the inaugural T20 World Cup title. Dhoni's captaincy marked a historic milestone for Indian cricket. However, former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh's father, Yograj Singh, has recently made strong remarks against Dhoni, suggesting India's chances of winning have improved without him. Yograj also referenced statements from Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma, criticising Dhoni's leadership.

"As an Indian, I want India to win. Dhoni nahi hai, phir jeet jayenge (India should win now that MS Dhoni is not there). The whole world is saying it. Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma are also saying it," Yograj Singh stated in a viral video going viral on social media.

He further alleged that Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lost IPL 2024 due to Dhoni's actions, accusing Dhoni of being jealous of Yuvraj Singh.

"CSK lost IPL 2024. Why did they lose? You reap what you sow. Yuvraj Singh is the ICC Ambassador, hats off to him! And this jealous Dhoni, where is he? He didn't even shake hands with Yuvraj and that is the reason why CSK failed this year," Yograj Singh added.

India & England Meet Again In T20 World Cup Semifinal

Rohit Sharma & co. will face England in the semifinal, recreating the event that transpired back in the T20 World Cup 2022 semifinal, where England defeated India by 10 wickets to knock the Men in Blue out of the tournament.
