A video of Virat Kohli enjoying a dinner date with wife Anushka Sharma and friends has gone viral on social media.
Virat Kohli recently requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for an extended break in between the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. That meant even though the first batch of Indian players including captain Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah among other players travelled to New York ahead of their first match of the tournament, Kohli is still in Mumbai. He could reportedly miss India's only warm-up game ahead of the competition.
And now a video of Kohli enjoying a dinner date with wife Anushka Sharma and friends has gone viral on social media. The celebrity couple and friends captured coming out of a restuarant in Mumbai. The video has since then gone viral on social media.

Virat Kohli Likely To Bat At Number 3 In India's T20 World Cup 2024 Campaign
Even though there is a section of the fans and media who believe that Kohli should open the batting along with Rohit Sharma, he is likley to bat at number 3. While there has been some criticism over his strike rate in the past, there was new Kohli on display in IPL 2024 who not only topped the run-scoring charts finishing with 741 runs but also scoring them at a rate of 154.70. He accumulated those runs with the help of 1 hundred and 5 centuries.
India would hope that Kohli can take the form into the T20 World Cup 2024 as India look to end their world title drought, having last won an ICC title in 2013. India play their first match of T20 World Cup 2024 against Ireland on June 5 (Wednesday).
