Virat Kohli turned on his beast mode ahead of the India vs Bangladesh Test series and even broke the wall with a powerful shot during a net session.
All eyes are on Virat Kohli who is all set to make a comeback to Test cricket after a long time with the 1st Test against Bangladesh in Chennai beginning on September 19 (Thursday). Ahead of the series opener, Kohli has begun his preparations for the match and spent a good amount of time at the nets.
With Kohli gearing up for a gruelling Test season, it looked like he might take his time at the nets, practicing his defensive strokes first before going for the big ones. However, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star seemed to be in T20 mode and smashed a big stroke which broke the wall of the MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk) in Chennai.

Virat Kohli Did Not Play The Home Series Against England
It is pertinent to note that Kohli missed out on the entire five-match series against England at home to be with his wife Anushka Sharma for the birth of his second child. The right-handed batter played plenty of white-ball cricket after that, the IPL and the T20 World Cup 2024 where he starred in India's titular contest, bagging the Player Of the Match before announcing his retirement from the international T20 format.

With no red-ball cricket under his belt in a long time, it was expected that the right-handed batter might play the Duleep Trophy but he did not feature in that and has hit the ground running a good few days before the first Test in Chennai to get in the groove. The second Test match will be played at the Green Park in Stadium in Kanpur from September 27.
