Twitter Goes Berserk As Ishan Kishan Hits Fastest ODI Double Century

With this knock, the young Indian batsman becomes the seventh person in the world to achieve the feat and fourth from India after Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma, and Virender Sehwag. 

New Delhi: India’s dashing batter Ishan Kishan smashed the fastest double-century in ODI cricket in the ongoing  3rd ODI between India and Bangladesh in Chattogram on Saturday. He took just 126 balls to reach the feat. He also broke Chris Gayle's record of scoring a double ton in 138 balls. With this knock, the young Indian batsman becomes the seventh person in the world to achieve the feat and fourth from India after Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma, and Virender Sehwag. 

Moments after he reached the 200-run mark, people from all walks of life took to Twitter to laud the dynamic batter.
