'Thank You Sanju': Fans Make Fun Of Samson After His Flop Run Vs WI
The right-hand batter had a torrid run throughout the series, failing to leave an impact.
West Indies ended the five-match T20I series against India on high as they clinched the series with a 3-2 score-line. After choosing to bat first, the Indian team ended up scoring 165/9 in 20 overs, kudos to Suryakumar Yadav’s 61-run knock. In reply, the West Indies quickly chased down the total within 18 overs and won the game by eight wickets. During this series, the Indian team stepped on the ground with many young players and most of them performed well except Sanju Samson. The right-hand batter had a torrid run throughout the series, failing to leave an impact.
The Kerela-based player failed to deliver even in a single game as out of the five matches, he could not bat in two, and in the rest of the games he scored 12, 7, 13. Since the series concluded in the favour of Windies, Indian fans took to Twitter, sharing funny memes to criticize his below-average show.

Previously, former India player Aakash Chopra said that he does not see Samson in the squad of India for the upcoming World Cup.
"At this point in time, if KL Rahul becomes available, I don't see him [Samson] in the World Cup team. I don't think he will be seen in the Asia Cup team as well," Chopra said on his YouTube channel.
"Samson is only 28 years old. He does have time on his side. It's not the end of the world. You have the T20 World Cup next year. Plenty of cricket will be played after that too," he added.
