Did Shoaib Malik Send Flirty Texts To Nawal Saeed? The Pakistani actress said: "Cricketers should not be doing that" during an interview.
Shoaib Malik, ex-Pakistan captain, recently found himself at the centre of media attention when he announced his marriage with Pakistani actress Sana Javed. Later, it was also confirmed that Shoaib and Indian tennis star Sania Mirza had been divorced for a few months prior to what is the cricketer's third marriage. And now once again Malik finds himself as the subject of news reports especially after Pakistani actor Nawal Saeed disclosed that she received flity messages from several Pakistani cricketers.
Even though Naval did not name any cricketer, when she was asked if Shoaib who was one of the cricketers who sent him the text, the Pakistani actor did not give an answer while she claimed that she forgot the name of the cricketer who sent her the messages.
"I don’t want to talk about it," she said when quizzed if it was Shoaib who was one of the cricketers who sent her a flity text on Instagram. She was talking about the issue on the Pakistani chat show 'Life Green Hai'.
"I feel cricketers should not do that, as people idolise them even more than actors). So if people consider you to be too big, you should not slide into DMs," she added.

Even though the right-handed all-rounder is not active on the international cricket circuit, he continues to ply his trade in several leagues in and around the world, including the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and the Pakistan Super League (PSL). In the 2024 season of the PSL, Shoaib played for the Karachi Kings and scored 254 runs in 10 innings at an average of 31.75 and a strike rate of 115.98. In addition, the 42-year-old bowled a total of 23 overs in the tournament in which he managed to pick up 2 wickets. He had good economy rate of 6.39 in PSL 2024.
