For South Africa, Captain Temba Bavuma is taking charge of the Proteas. Last month, South Africa played Ireland in the two-match T20I series where they won the 1st T20I by 21 runs, followed by the 2nd T20I by 44 runs, and ended up winning the series 2-0.

India recently won a 3-match T20I series against Australia 2-1 at home. During the IND Vs AUS T20I series, the hosts were defeated by 4 wickets in the first T20I. However, India regained its stride in the following two games, winning the second and third T20Is.
The most recent T20I series South Africa played was against Ireland last month in England. South Africa sealed the two-match T20I series 2-0.
