IND vs AFG Highlights, T20 World Cup 2024: India beat Afghanistan by 47 runs in their ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 Super Eights clash at Bridgetown in Barbados on Thursday (June 1). India won the toss and elected to bat first in what was their first outing in the Caribbean in the tournament. Opting to bat first, the Men in Blue posted 181/8 in their 20 overs riding on Suryakumar Yadav's 53 off 28 and Hardik Pandya's 32 off 24.

In response, Afghanistan lost early wickets and were never really able to recover. Jasprit Bumrah set up the tone for Team India while the spinners chipped in later, ensuring that the pressure that was exerted early was maintained throughout. It was a clinical performance in the end from Rohit Sharma & Co. despite the passage of play early on in their batting innings where runs seemed hard to come by and wicket fell at regular intervals.
