With just a week to go until ICC Champions Trophy 2025, all teams have finalized their squads. However, multiple frontline fast bowlers have been forced out of the tournament due to injuries or personal reasons.

So far, eight pacers have been ruled out of ICC Champions Trophy 2025, impacting their respective teams' bowling attacks.

Have a look at star pacers ruled out of ICC Champions Trophy and the reasons behind their exclusion.

Jasprit Bumrah (India)

India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out due to lower back pain. In his absence, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named Harshit Rana as his replacement.

Mitchell Starc (Australia)

Completing a trio of blows for Australia, veteran pacer Mitchell Starc has withdrawn from the tournament due to personal reasons. This means Australia will compete without its three premier fast bowlers - Cummins, Hazlewood, and Starc.

Pat Cummins (Australia)

Australian captain and strike bowler Pat Cummins will miss the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 tournament due to an ankle injury. Steve Smith has been appointed as Australia's stand-in captain.

Josh Hazlewood (Australia)

Another major setback for Australia, Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out with a hip injury sustained during the third Test against India.

Reece Topley (England)

England's left-arm quick Reece Topley has been ruled out due to a knee injury, further depleting England's pace resources.

Anrich Nortje (South Africa)

Adding to South Africa's injury woes, express pacer Anrich Nortje has been sidelined with a back injury, leaving their bowling attack significantly weakened.

Gerald Coetzee (South Africa)

South Africa's young fast bowler Gerald Coetzee, already ruled out of the tri-series against Pakistan and New Zealand, is also expected to miss the Champions Trophy due to a hamstring injury.
