India squad Champions Trophy 2025: The Indian cricket team has its sights set on ICC Champions Trophy 2025, slated to take place in February-March. India's campaign in CT 2025 kicks off with a high-voltage clash against Pakistan on February 23.

While India's official squad is yet to be announced, early buzz points to a strong roster led by Rohit Sharma. 

Senior opener Rohit Sharma is expected to continue as India captain in 50-overs format, aiming to lead India to another ICC title. Reports also suggest that Jasprit Bumrah could be named vice-captain for the tournament, though the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has yet to confirm this.

The pace department could see return of veteran Mohammed Shami, who has impressed in domestic cricket and proven his fitness. Shami is likely to strengthen a bowling lineup featuring Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and young left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh, creating a lethal combination of experience and youth.

As per media reports, all participating teams must submit their provisional squads by January 12, with changes allowed until February 13. However, the BCCI has not provided any updates on the final selection timeline.

All-Rounders: Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Nitish Reddy / Axar Patel

Bowlers: Jasprit Bumrah (VC), Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 marks return of one of the most celebrated tournaments after an eight-year hiatus. Scheduled from February 19 to March 9, CT 2025 will feature 15 matches across Pakistan and UAE, bringing together top eight teams for a thrilling 19-day competition.

Pakistan are the hosts for CT 2025 but India will play all their matches at Dubai, under 'hybrid model'.

Champions Trophy semi-finals taking place on March 4 in Dubai and March 5 in Lahore. The final is set for March 9 in Lahore but will be shifted to Dubai if India qualifies.
