- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 2 Pinch Baking Powder
- 2 Teaspoon Ground Ginger

- 170 Gram Unsalted Butter
- 100 Gram Brown Sugar
- 1 Piece Egg
- 120 Milliliter Molasses
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

In a medium bowl, add in all the dry ingredients like flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices, and salt.
Take a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar together until they're fluffy. Add in the egg, molasses, and vanilla extract.
Add in the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and start stirring until a soft dough forms.
Divide the dough in 2 parts and wrap each part in a plastic wrap. Refrigerate these portions for at least 1 hour.
