Amritsar: Punjabi musician Diljaan died in a horrific road Car accident in the wee hours of Tuesday. The Punjabi singer was alone in the car and was on his way to Amritsar from Kartarpur in the early hours of Tuesday when he met with a car accident at Jandiala. The 30-year-old was a resident of Kartarpur. (WATCH REPORT)
It was reported that Punjabi singer's overspeeding car collided with a divider near Jandiala Guru Bridge on Amritsar-Jalandhar GT Road. Diljan's car was traveling at a high speed due to which it collided with the divider and overturned at around 2 am in the night. He died on the spot.
Diljaan's new song was to be released on April 2 for which he was travelling to Amritsar when the accident took place. (VISUALS OF THE CRASH)
Reports say some pilgrims visiting the Anantpur fair in trolley vehicle saw the mangled car and rushed him to the hospital where he was declared dead.
Fellow colleagues and his well-wishers expressed shock over his death and sent out condolences on social media.
Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh condoled the death saying he was extremely saddened to see youth losing lives in road accidents. "Shocked at the tragic death of young and promising Punjabi singer Diljaan in a road accident earlier today. It is extremely sad to lose young lives like these on road. My condolences to the family, friends and fans. RIP!"

Dijaan became famous after he participated in the music television show Sur Kshetra in 2012.
According to some media reports, Diljaan is survived by his wife and daughter who will arrive in Punjab on April 5th from Canada for his last rites
