Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi and Union Minister of State Murugan flagged off the 1st train service carrying delegates for Kashi Tamil Sangamam from Chennai Egmore Railway Station on Thursday

TN BJP chief Annamalai also interacted with the commuters of the train before the flagging off

The initiative is jointly organised by IIT Madras and Banaras Hindu University to highlight the academic and cultural relations between Varanasi and Tamil Nadu
