Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin with newly married couple - Aishwarya Shankar and Damodaran Rohit.

Tamil Film Shankar’s daughter Aishwarya tied the knot with cricketer Rohit Damodharan On Sunday in a grand ceremony.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin attended the wedding along with his son Udaynidhi Stalin and Health Minister Ma Subramanian and blessed the newly wed couple.

The wedding took place at Welcome Hotel on the East Coast Road in Tamil Nadu's Chennai and the event followed all the COVID-19 protocols limited guests of close family members of director Shankar and his wife Eshwari attended ceremony.

While Shankar’s daughter Aishwarya is a doctor by profession, and Rohit Damodaren is Puducherry domestic cricket team captain and is the son of industrialist Damodharan, who owns Madurai Panthers cricket team in TNPL (Tamil Nadu Premier League).
