The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday announced the contenders who are in the race for the ICC Men’s and Women’s Player of the Month awards from November’s international contests. (Getty)

Travis Head (AUS): Australian opener batter Travis Head has been nominated for the  Men’s Player of the Month for the first time after his crucial contributions that helped Australia clinch the ICC World Test Championship Final in June. (Getty)

Mohammed Shami (IND): India’s bowling mainstay Shami created headlines when he topped the wicket-taking charts at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, and as a result, he has been nominated for the Men’s Player of the Month award. (Getty)

Glenn Maxwell (AUS): The Australian explosive all-rounder has been named in the nomination list for the first time after an extraordinary November, including one of the great World Cup performances against Afghanistan in Mumbai. (Getty)
