Pawl Kut- Since the term Pawl means straw, the Pawl Kut celebration refers to a straw harvesting festival. Every year, the festival is typically celebrated in the month of December. A traditional component of the feast is meat and eggs. During the event, the Chawnghnawt rite is practised. Mother and her children are forced to sit on a memorial platform created especially for Pawl Kut during the Chawnghnawt rite.
