Visiting Mizoram: Interesting Things That You Must Know About This North-East Indian State

The name Mizoram, which translates to "Land of the Highlanders," is one of the seven sisters of Northeast India. Pawl Kut- Since the term Pawl means straw, the Pawl Kut celebration refers to a straw harvesting festival. Every year, the festival is typically celebrated in the month of December. A traditional component of the feast is meat and eggs. During the event, the Chawnghnawt rite is practised. Mother and her children are forced to sit on a memorial platform created especially for Pawl Kut during the Chawnghnawt rite. Forests and Wildlife in Mizoram- The common vegetation types of Mizoram include tropical semi-evergreens, tropical moist deciduous trees, subtropical broadleaved hills, and subtropical pine forests. Many different bird, animal, and plant species may be found in Mizoram. Tribes of Mizoram- Mizoram's tribes are mainly concentrated in the small clans that have developed into tiny villages.
