In the series, Richard and Priyanka play spies who work for Citadel, an organization that is tied to no country.

Citadel is a multi-series franchise with local productions being made in Italy, India and Mexico.

The international version, starring Priyanka and Richard, is created by the Russo Brothers.

The Indian series is developed by 'The Family Man' fame director-duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK and stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Prabhu.
